Just checked out the re-grand opening of Guadalajara Xpress in El Monte, and this spot did not disappoint! I ordered the Torta Cubana, and wow — it was stacked! Every bite had layers of juicy meats, melted cheese, and all the fixings. So flavorful and super satisfying. The Birria Quesa Tacos were crispy on the outside, cheesy and juicy on the inside, and that consomme dip? Chef’s kiss! Rich, bold, and perfect for soaking. I also tried the Tacos Ahogados, and if you've never had these before, do yourself a favor and order them ASAP. Drenched in sauce, spicy, messy, and so worth it. Glad to see this place back in action — friendly service, clean space, and fire Mexican food. Can’t wait to come back and try more off the menu!

The tacos here are so good!!! The Al Pastor is so good,and my wife loves their carnitas tacos. Their new location is so much nicer and it's great to see this family run business continue to grow.
This place actually blew me away with how good it is. Arroz just as good as mama makes, tortas, carnes, frijoles, tortillas, salsas, aguas frescas were all excellent. And to top it off the service was very attentive and the prices were more than fair. I am not from around here but I will definitely drop by whenever I'm in the area!
We had the “Carne en su jugo” and it was so tasty, made my mouth water. I had never eaten this typical meal from Guadalajara so it was all new to me. Served in a bowl with lots of spicy juices, tender bits of meat and other yummy ingredients, I was surprised at its full bodied flavor. Portion size is plenty to satisfy a hearty appetite and still have another meal to take home. I will definitely go back.
